DEEP IN OUR WORLD OF DOING.

Linda, Max and I enjoyed breakfast with James, poor
man, he works in Juvenile now.

Seeing the beautiful faces of the " old" ones, made me
very happy. What a pleasure it was to work so
many years, and never dread the job.

But, gosh, look at the new ones. When I began in criminal
court in 1968, we had Dene, Icey, Eloise and Me.
Now look what it takes to keep up with criminals in
Rutherford County, she had somewhere in mid 30's
employed now and everyone is still stressed out.
I am still thinking on my suggestion years ago. Let the bad
people have it and make us nice condo's behind
an electric fence and let us live unafraid.
I learned an awfully lot during those years.

Thanks to Eloise for the nice breakfast. Did I
eat or talk?

There she is, the retiring Miss Juvenile Court

There's some old faces down there. At lease one that came
with us when we came to the new building
many years ago. There is one on the
end that we, Linda, Eloise, and I raised from a baby.
After moving to Judge Holloway's back office
our hardest job was looking for
the proper boyfriend for her. We found him the second time
we tried.

I am standing here with the retired world
travelers. Go get um girls.

It is ready, it is almost time!
Can you believe it is only one week before
we celebrate the birth of our Lord,
Jesus Christ.
One week of feelings of excitement
for the little ones. There are
so few little ones in our family now.
It takes us all.
A very merry Christmas to one and all.

Remembering Happy Days.

You talk about traditions, I have to look back further than
most of us can remember. I am posting a few pictures of
Leonard's family, not that their traditions were more
or less than the Floyd's, but because I had sent
pictures to Sally Womble and prehaps to
Mary Jane Knox I already have the oldies on
my computer.
In top picture Leonard's lovely mother is on the
far right of back row. Now you know why
she had such a handsome son.
Mary Jane Knox Murry's grandmother is far
left on front row. Her grandmother
married one of Leonard's grandfather's
brothers.
Middle picture is LOP's parents with their
first son, Robert William Patton.
Bottom pix is whole family, made on Richland
Street, Watertown.
Just gathering was tradition for that family.
His parents 3rd and 5th from right back row.
Had no other place to go.

Christmas' at PATTON PLACE

The sweetest Christmas Present that Dad and I
ever got was watching these four happy
children on Christmas Mornings.
Look at those cowboy and cowgirl outfits,
and also a sack of oranges, a sack of apples, bananas
and looks like a box of Milky Ways.
Daddy built the doghouse and where
is the dog? Honey?
a golden Cockier Spaniel.
It got no better than Christmas morning at our house.
Now put this on your blog, Merry.

THE SEA TO THE SHORE

With a red-gold wedding ring, mined from the caves of sunset,
Fast shall I bind thy faith to my faith evermore,
And the stars will wait on our pleasure, the great north wind will trumpet
A thunderous marriage march for the nuptials of sea and shore.

by: Lucy Maud Montgomery

You saw life in it's fullest and gave it to me.
Someday we will stand together again. I'm thinking of you today.

With love,
Your Honey

THANKFUL FROM HEAVEN FOR MY FAMILY

I still hear the songs, I still see the lights
I still feel your love on cold wintery nights
I still share your hopes and all of your cares
I'll even remind you to please say your prayers

I just want to tell you, you still make me proud
You stand head and sholders above all the crowd
Keep trying each moment, to stay in His grace
I came here before you to help set your place

He forgives you the slip, if you continue to climb
To my family and friends, please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you, in a new special way

I love you all dearly, now don't shed a tear
cause I'm spending my Thanksgiving with
Jesus and Betty this year

The HOME COMING

Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group Concludes Operations in 7th Fleet AOR ABOARD USS RONALD REAGAN (NNS) -- The six ships of the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group concluded military operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR) Nov. 14.

May 19, 2008...

(USS Ronald Reagan Deploys 21 May 2008Friends and family members waved farewell to their loved ones as the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan and the six ships in its strike group sailed out of San Diego.) The parents of Kirill were in San Diego to say bon voyage in May.

Homecoming!

A joyous occasion was had by all when Hugh, Natali and Yegor traveled to Pearl Harbor to greet their son Kirill and the USS Ronald Reagan.... Kirill in green. Yegor in black.

The devoted family reunites..

It was sad that Kirill's wife, Lena did not get to go, however the

Navy rules are very strick, no Wives or Girlfriends are

allowed to go the Tiger Cruise from Pearl Harbor

to San Diego. She will be in San Diego waiting

to take the family back to Los Angles to her apartment for visit.

Got to be something here about happily riding off in the sunset.

Sailors host their families back to the mainland....

Gotta go to the new movie {the Pirates}
I most likely can find more, these just
came to mind.
Gotta love a gal from the South

There us a deep love in families....
I suppose none greater than sisters as your life passes.
They seem such a part of growing up.
What a wonderful home that we had to grow up in.
In the early years Daddy made decisions and
expected Mother to follow.
That's just the way it was, the man was head of the
household and no greater love could be found
than that of our Dad. As the years passed
there came a time when we women
quit submitting and started "outwitting".
I am sure we have all done our share of both.
I am so happy that my parents
gave me this sister that I am about to
camp out with for the next few days.
Thank God he gave us a younger one who can
keep us straight and give us lots of love.
Thanks for the love of Mike and Susan.
OFF WE GO TO THE GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS.

In Memory of Betty

5/2/1946 - 10/30/2002

Different is Lovely
We all want to "belong" and go to great lengths to fit in,
Sometimes we forget that we are like snowflakes,
no two, thank God, alike. Each snowflake
and child of mine, is the same in essence but different
in form.

God blessed me with this unique, one-of-a-kind daughter.
She was not created more special than another but
God does make each snowflake different from the other.
She marched to the tune of her own drum.

The memories only get sweeter. Happy Birthday to all of us who loved her.

And especially her sweet daughter-in-law, Anna, one she loved,
we say Happy Birthday today!
