This is sure to be on the list for best documentary. What a world of memories at the Patton Farm for me. The Patton home place is where my love for farm life and horses started. The air, the wide open spaces the smells always made going there so special. My grandaddy and siblings, I was once told by Aunt Rhea, made TeePee's and played Civil War as children. Times have changed things, but one thing has not changed--WE ARE STILL PATTON!!!

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that you, Geraldine and your cousins made this journey. I finally have closure on a wonderful chapter that I am so proud to be a part of. Where ever the Pattons go in this world of today, they are rich in good stock and character and will build a family farm according to today’s standards. WE ARE PATTON! To each of you who are lucky enough have a drop of that heritage; wear it proudly and do honor to the name.

For me, I am indeed better at roots than wings.
