Floyd Family Reunion 2008

For eleven years the Floyds have gathered together to share stories, adventures, hopes, family ties and the joy of seeing one another. This year in the small town of Commerce, Tennessee, where it all began, it was no different. They came, they served one another, enjoyed food contributed by all, then went home with a better understanding of from whence they came...

Kenneth told us about Commerce and the cemetery where our ancestors are buried.Hugh and Natali told us of their struggle for Natili to become a citizen of our great country.

Natali set up our family tree on http://www.myheritage.com/site-38141172/patton-web-site?authenticate=50caa443ad557b6d400351e682015ff207dcb8ac-192306831, and encouraged us to add to it......

There were relatives from several States and some who have come each year. For instance, our oldest relative, Katherine Rowland from Detroit who will be 100 years young in 2009.We always enjoy worshiping with the wonderful people at that little church of our forefathers,Commerce Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Another beautiful fall day in Commerce. Sorry that Louis and I missed Natali's talk on our heritage and her wonderful family tree gift she worked so hard on. She probably knows more about our tree than most of us. Natali you never cease to amaze me. Uncle Ken, bring Steve, with the heaters, and will build a fire at the Memory house and You can tell me about the grave yard at Commerce.
