July 9,1977 was the highlight of my life. That was the day Merry Patton,(Lovey), became Merry Croft and made me the happiest and luckiest man in the world. 30 years later, I still rejoice in my great and good fortune having found this lovely and wonderful woman. I am so proud of her. She is truly my love. What I did not know was that she would also be such a super grandmother. Thank you, Nana, for your beautiful daughter, and for these 30 wonderful years. Terrence.
Thank you Mom for remembering and posting pictures of the day that changed my life.
Terrence was my Knight-in-Shining-Armor. He rescued me from a broken heart, gave me dignity and all the love I needed to withstand whatever came our way. He proudly stood beside me in my days of learning to be a lawyer’s wife as well as fighting with me in my year long battle of cancer.
God has blessed our faithfulness and devotion to one another with a good home, wonderful children and perfect grandchildren (that is aloud to be said by a grandmother!).
To all of you out there who are reading and desire a lifetime of with your someone special; just remember, Jesus is the key. He will right your wrongs, show you how to forgive and how love without condition. Most of all He will stay on you until you get it right! To God be the Glory!!
It is indeed a Happy Anniversary for me with Terrence, my Man of La Mancha, the man who changed my life, forever.
