I had a lovely Memorial Day with Judy and Louis on the grounds of their new place, called Springland. The rains tried to put a damper on our afternoon, but thanks to Hugh loaning his trailer to them, during construction, and the wonderful wild life spotting's, we had a nice time together.
We know God had something to do with the pink ribbon running
through the bird nest. It was small and sitting on a deck of cards.
They have one lonely turkey...we have named him Lou. :)
As you can see I had to wade water to get to my car as I left to return home.
Thanks for a fun day!

sister last week. We had hoped out baby sister could also
be with us. She couldn't be there but she certainly did
furnish us with enough talking that I know her ears were
burning. We had a full 24 hours of talking, snacking, looking
at the Braves play, and it was just great to spend time with
Dottie. Perhaps next time Polly will be with us. Polly has
to always be set on go, because one of us older ones are
always calling on her to come help with something. She is
always available. Sunday night she will have her graduation
for her Little Lights program at church. She had a full house.

THE EPITOME OF LOVE, JOY AND HAPPINESS
When my children praise me, I owe it to her. Is there another woman
anywhere who had so much and so little. When we think of her being
gone to join Daddy in Heaven twenty years, we still see that
wonderful smile on her face, seems only yesterday. There is never
a day that goes by that there is not something that I would like to
tell her, or more important, to ask her. As long as I live so will she.
Tomorrow I will also honor my sweet mother-in-law, Lela Owen
Patton. What wonderful parents we had, and for this I praise God.
Be sure to click on the picture and get a look at that wonderful happy face.
