The Christmas Mantels at N'Church

These are three of the five mantels that were decorated, this year and every year, for Christmas at the home place. I think there has never been a house with as much warmth and with as much rich history, for the same family, as this one.

Thanks to all who help put it up and take it down since Mom can no longer do it by herself. We are all blessed by your efforts.

Why thank you Miss Merry Maker for
posting my mantels. Kim is always
sure to decorate the mantels the
next morning while Tom is on the ladder decorating the gingerbread work in the living room. Never an
easy task to 600.
Every year I have to read to Little
Will about the three keys for the
tree, then he places them accordingly, one at the top, one at the bottom and one about half
way. He also has to put the four
characters from Wizzard of Oz at
just the perfect place, knowing
they were a gift from Aunt Kate
many years ago when she was so
into Dorothy and her friends.
Andrew has gotten so tall that he
is perfect for decorating and Emily
as always did a perfect job on the
Shaker tree. I am so blessed. Yes
grandchildren are truly a gift from
God.
