Remembering Betty

Flower Girl 1955

At last the pain in me subsides
and lets the joy in me abide,
as I can now celebrate the life,
not death, of my little drummer.

Betty looked like an angel that day. Mom, I am sure you made her dress. She was such a Patton and I am so glad she was a big part of that day even tho it looks like to me Aunt Phyllis would have wanted an adorable, chubby, little 5 year old, instead of someone so model like and beautiful. I still miss my big sister and will until I see her again.

Yes, Judy she was a little beauty.
Yes, Merry all those things she
was, just leave off the gender things, so was her father.
You don't stop until all is finished.
