GOODNIGHT LITTLE DRUMER

These grandparents were happy on
Christmas,1946 to have a grandson and
a granddaughter to share this Christmas with.
Today this granddaughter is pictured on the
right with her husband just before she
left us and went to her heavenly home.
This grandson on the left with
his family. He has grown taller.

I am so thankful to have had the little Drummer for my sister. Tonight, I went to encourage a dear friend who had unexpectantly lost a sister. Bought back memories of Betty. Thank you Mom for keeping her memory so dear and close to our hearts.

You must be missing Betty a little more than usual. I know, I do that sometimes too. Her passing has left such a void in our family. But, you know, every once in a while I hear a bit of the beat coming from out Leigh's way...Oh, come on, you gotta smile! :D What a great family we are and always will be as long as we continue hold up each other when the going gets rough.
