A sweet visit from the Sabonis-Chafee family...

Like a flash my granddaughter and her family burst into the house with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts, all just to give love to me.  They were here for only 24 hours, but boy were those hours packed with activity!  It all started with the lunch from Whitts, then before I could get up from the table, Kim (my granddaughter) and Andrew (my 14 year old great grandson) were busy making casseroles to stock my freezer.  Tom (Kim's husband) was turning the mattress and pulling the wrinkles out of the huge living room while Emily and William helped where they could.

Andrew brought me a puzzle book.  Emmy made for me really cute artwork with the word Nana; she also left a sweet letter before leaving.  William and I played a game where he said a word and I had to say something about it...for instance:

                         He:   Peanut Butter

Me:  Sometime it is on Crackers called Eat-a-Snack
He:   Some people can't eat it. ( I thought that was very smart.)
                         Me:  Papa loved it.

It went on and on and we had a wonderful time and for a few moments, the blessings overcame the discomfort I feel most of the time.  That's twice this month I have been blessed by my Atlanta family, first Mike (a grandson, Kim's brother) and his family (see post below).  I have been graced with a loving, caring family, not only in other southern cities nearby but right here in Murfreesboro.

Thank you, Sab-Cha's (that's what the children's friend call them at school) for giving of yourselves.  My cup runneth over with love.
